Alaa joined Al Salam Advocates in 2014. Alaa has a broad legal background with more than 10 years of experience in commercial transactions and litigation. She has combined experience of in-house and law firm practice working with a wide variety of business organisations. Alaa held Board and Company Secretarial positions for a number of clients. She is also a member of the Bahrain Bourse Disciplinary Committee.
Alaa has successfully represented clients in several claims through settlement, litigation and/or international commercial arbitration. In addition to leading numerous high-stakes litigation and arbitration proceedings, Alaa has advised and represented clients in matters involving the interpretation and enforcement of contractual obligations, as well as in the pursuit of debt recovery and compensation claims. Her practice is distinguished by a strategic and results-oriented approach to complex disputes, grounded in a thorough understanding of Bahraini law and procedural frameworks.
